Built For The Long Haul

The ASUS TUF Gaming 850W Gold EVO packs military-grade strength, a flagship fan design, and PCB protection for efficient, durable power delivery. The result is a PSU that can reliably fuel your rig for years to come.

Military-Grade Capacitors

Engineered for exceptional durability, the TUF Gaming Gold EVO series features TUF 5K black metallic capacitors, offering a 52% wider temperature tolerance and up to a 2.5X longer lifespan than standard capacitors.

Drop Test

Replicating real-world drops of 75cm on all sides, this test helps ensure that every TUF Gaming Gold EVO series can resist damage from unexpected falls, knocks and bumps during shipment and daily use.

Vibration Test

Extensive vibration testing helps ensure that every part of your TUF Gaming Gold EVO series PSU can stay in place and maintain functionality.

Extreme Temperature

TUF Gaming Gold EVO series is capable of handling drastic temperature changes from -40°C to 85°C for 27 cycles while maintaining operation.

Corrosion Resistance

The TUF Gaming Gold EVO series is built with corrosion resistance. It can withstand up to 95% humidity with salt fog for up to 240 hours and come out the other side with full functionality. Even if you’re living in tropical climates with harsh and wet conditions, it can weather the storm.

Dual-Ball Fan Bearings

Exemplary cooling is provided by a 135mm fan spinning on a dual-ball bearing setup that can last up to twice as long as a sleeve bearing design.

Protective PCB Coating

A protective conformal coating envelops the PCB to protect against short-circuits caused by moisture, dust, and debris.

Superior Copper Pins

Upgraded PCIe connectors feature advanced thermal conductivity to help ensure cool operation and efficient power delivery. This translates to a significant 29% reduction in connector temperatures (up to 12.28°C), promoting optimal performance and stability for even the most demanding graphics cards.

ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1 Compatible

The TUF Gaming Gold EVO series meets the stringent requirements of the ATX 3.1 standard and supports PCIe 5.1 graphics cards. It supports total power excursions up to twice the rated power and graphics card power excursions up to three times the rated power, helping to ensure rock-solid stability for your PC.

80 PLUS Gold and Cybenetics Platinum Efficiency Lambda A- Noise Certification

The TUF Gaming 850W Gold EVO achieves 80 PLUS Gold and Cybenetics Platinum(230V) certifications by leveraging low-ESR capacitors that deliver stability and efficiency, leading to improved power consumption, heat generation, acoustics and reliability. This model also earned a coveted Cybenetics Lambda A- certification by emitting less than 30 dB of noise on average.

PREMIUM EMBOSSED CABLES

Made from a pliable premium material, these embossed cables are easily flexible during installation, and they operate at temperatures 50°C lower than the safety limit when routed for cable management.

UL1581 Certified UL758 Certified

These cables also meet the rigorous standards of the UL1581 flame test and UL758 certification, helping to ensure a smooth PC DIY experience and exceptional safety.
